A customer in the Vending industry contracted Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Company, LLC for the production of dispensing kits for vending machines. Consisting of 33 individual parts, each kit needed to be made in an economical and precise fashion. Our flexible capabilities and competency dealing with advanced requirements made a complete customer solution possible.
We created a production process using our state-of-the-art Trumpf 1030 2500 Watt Coax Laser based cutting system. In order to satisfy the customer’s economy requirements, we set up cutting of all 33 parts to take place on one sheet of 18ga HRPO steel. Once cutting was complete, we kitted and packaged the parts according to the customer’s specifications.
Dimensions of these parts varied from 3″ to 6′ in length and 1″ to 4′ in height. Cutting tolerances were held at ± 0.035.” We delivered 600 kits per year, with orders fulfilled in turnaround periods of 15 days.
With minimal difficulty, we were able to deliver a complete, cost-effective solution to the customer. To learn more about this project, or to see how we can assist your manufacturing needs, contact Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Company today.
