Superbowl - Detroit

When the city of Detroit had to finish off Ford Field to host the NFL Superbowl, Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Company was call upon to prime and powder coat all the exterior street lighting. Each pole consisted of a 575# cast iron base, 24' - 18" diameter light pole, 6' x 6' cast top section, and multiply misc. parts.

The unique line set, allowed the powder coating process to be complete with a week. All other finishers required 3 weeks and could only batch the coat the materal.

Hudson River Walkway

The unique make up of main powder coating line was called upon to due architectural grade powder coating for 2 miles of river walk on the Hudson River.

DOT specifications required pretreatment and coating that could only be had by a couple of lines in the region. Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Company was selected due the fact that the line could handle the weight, length and pretreatment requirements. Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Copmany was the only coater not owned by an extrusion house.

 Universtiy of Akron Football Stadium

Architectural & Industrial Metal Finishing Company powder coated all of the doors and many other misc. metals for this project.

The project was on a tight schedule and A&I Metal Finishing Company turn the items around in under a week. In all, the material took up 4 flat bed to deliver.
